An educator & entrepreneur, personal growth and human development specialist, documentarian, writer, advocate for conscious travel and educator of sacred portals and indigenous culture all around the world.

Marci is the founder of Emana Institute, Emana brings expeditions to the Sacred Portals of the world uniting courses in self-knowledge and meditation practices.

Exploring and documenting ancestral cultures and their portals are part of the "Sacred Human World" project, where Marci has guided groups to sacred places such as Easter Island and the Rapa Nui culture, Greenland and the Inuits, Celtics, Hawaiian and Aborigines

Emana means "the power to emanate our wisdom, our essence and truth to experience the energy and to evolve."

Marci has an infectious and inspiring passion for travelling the world, having explored over 30 countries, gaining insight and wisdom into local cultures and Sacred places (Portals) all over the world

After spending time travelling and running events with Marci through Europe and Australia, we wanted to share more of Marci’s incredible story with our Sacred Community.

Marcía Bellö shares her personal journey with us and how it has transformed her life. From finding healing during her darkest moments to discovering a deeper connection with herself and the world, Marcía explores the sacredness of cacao and its potential to enhance both body and soul.

The Energy of Sacred Cacao

"What truly caught my attention about Sacred Taste Cacao was the energy," Marcía begins. "The brand carries an indescribable energy that resonates deeply. The colours are majestic, and they beautifully convey the mission without needing many words. You instantly feel that it’s a conscious and sustainable brand—like a family, with a strong sense of collaboration. There is so much care and love infused into everything they do."

For Marcía, this alignment with Sacred's mission was what initially drew her to try the our cacao and eventually become an advocate for it. Since then, Marci has been working alongside Sacred, sharing our Cacao and the mission in her events and expeditions around the world. 

Cacao as a Source of Healing and Well-Being

Cacao played an integral role in Marcía’s healing, during one of the toughest periods of her life—her battle with depression, Marci found Cacao. "I struggled with depression for almost four years, and cacao became one of the most important elements in my healing process," she recalls.

Through daily rituals combining cacao, meditation, and journaling, she began to experience a positive shift. "This practice became non-negotiable for me, helping me realign with myself and my heart. Over time, I started feeling better—my energy improved, my focus sharpened, my body relaxed, and my sleep got better. Cacao brought me back to myself."

The Surprising Benefits of Cacao

"The most surprising benefit was the boost in my intuition and energy," Marcía shares. Incorporating Sacred Taste Cacao into her morning routine has helped her start each day with a sense of alignment and awareness.

"I can confidently say that it has enhanced my awareness, energy, clarity, and intuition," she adds. This newfound clarity has had a profound effect on how she approaches decisions and challenges in her daily life.

A Sacred Morning Ritual

Marcía’s cacao ritual is a beautiful and intentional process. "My special cacao ritual is always in the morning. When I wake up, I prepare a very simple recipe because I want to preserve the purity of the cacao. Sometimes I boil water or make oat milk, and I combine it with one scoop of cacao."

She emphasizes the importance of intention-setting during preparation. "While preparing it, I set my intention and meditate. Afterward, I sit down to journal, writing about my feelings and intentions for the day. This ritual, paired with studying or reading, has become something very special to me."

Cacao as a Practice of Connection

"For me, cacao is a practice that brings me back to my heart, my body, and my connection with Mother Nature," Marcía explains. "It’s more than a drink—there’s a powerful energy behind cacao that extends beyond the material world."

After incorporating cacao into her life, she noticed that many things around her began to align and flourish. "It’s a connection with nature that reminds us of what we deserve, what’s good for us, and what true abundance is."

A Message to Those New to Sacred Taste

Marcía’s message to those considering Sacred Taste is clear: it’s about much more than just purchasing cacao. "After experiencing Sacred Taste, I realised it’s not just a product you buy to make your daily cacao. It’s about being more aligned with your body, family, collaboration, and oneness."

She continues, "This cacao, connected to the Ashaninka community and their processes, teaches us to be of service—both to others and to ourselves. It opens our hearts to infinite possibilities and shows us how to break boundaries."

A Sacred Moment in Montserrat

One of Marcía’s most sacred moments occurred in Spain, while guiding a retreat at the sacred portal of Montserrat. She recalls a powerful full-moon cacao ceremony held on July 21, 2024.

"I was there with the founder of Sacred Taste, surrounded by amazing people, the majestic mountains, and the full moon. I felt incredibly grounded and aligned with my mission of communication. Cacao was a powerful support in my journey."

What is Sacred to Marcía?

For Marcía, recognizing the gift within every experience is what makes life sacred. "Everything that happens in our lives is a perfect blessing, even if it seems challenging at the moment. Each experience brings lessons or strengthens our inner tools and abilities to navigate life."

She believes that life itself is sacred, filled with unique moments that contribute to our growth and evolution.

The Purpose of Communication

"My inner calling is definitely communication—spreading my message through my voice and heart," Marcía says. Since childhood, she has felt a deep connection with diverse cultures and ancient wisdom. "I love writing, teaching, traveling, and connecting with different cultures."

For Marcía, her mission is about using communication to guide others, following her intuition, and embracing what brings joy and fulfillment.

A Wish for the World

Marcía’s wish for the world is profound yet simple: "I wish for everyone to recognise their inner abilities and see themselves with higher potential—spreading their messages from the heart. I envision a world without struggle or suffering, where people flow with life and appreciate its beauty."

She believes that by embodying this mindset in her own life, she can inspire others to do the same, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
